Do any of these actually let you use a case on your iPad and plug it in? I've yet to find one for my iPhone that lets me use it and leave my Otterbox connected. It's like all these manufacturers expect no one to have cases on their devices.

It doesn't say anything about iPhone 4S in the specs. I have seen a few of these portable speakers that, for some reason, have issues with the 4S. Maybe it's just a typo here, but its something to think about.

More or less.

Even if that thing had multiple speakers, the location's such that you won't get any imaging out of it at all.

A better way of thinking of this is that is an ample replacement for your alarm clock. Yea, the one with single speaker and buzzer.

the wall charger takes some time for a full charge even.
Cant sound too bad, right?

Just because I can't find a review on it, I'm in for one. Been wanting the 200.00 dock but can't seem to bring myself to spend that kinda dough on a stupid dock. We'll see if this does the job.

That's a good question. I would love to get this but I use a case for my iPad and I'm not so certain that it will fit on the dock. I guess I'll have to take it out of the case but that's going to be a pain in the ass. The case is very tight so it's a pain to take off.

I have one and the sound is much better than I expected when I ordered. Equivalent to a higher quality clock radio and it will play at a fairly high volume for its size. Cases of any thickness can be an issue because the length of the plug in the dock. For an iPhone you a dock extender will work. No problem with my 4s. At this price it is a very good deal.

A person could get a pretty sore neck using this as an iPad speaker while watching a movie.

Still, if it charges my iPad 2 and plays louder than the internal speaker, I'm in.

Sweet, been looking for a cheap dock that will simply let my iphone sit upright so I do not have to stop typing and pick it up when I am working. I can just look down at any messages or caller ID.

I don't want to be a parrot...But this IS an amazing deal. I've spent around $70 for my AC adapter charger and ihome...I would definitely buy one of these...Good Price...

Rumor is iPad 3 won't have the 3o-pin connector (thankfully) but this does have an aux input.

Looks like it should work with wifes 16gb iPad so I'm In for two.

This does NOT have a USB connection though right? It is just power to the iPad and audio from the iPad?
